The project site was a vacant, sixty-foot wide railroad right-of-way cutting diagonally through a city block in the Showplace Square wholesale showroom district. Two levels of live/work and commercial loft condominiums are linked together along the right-of-way by a landscaped pedestrian street elevated above covered parking and storage units.
Typical condominiums have two-story interior volumes with a mezzanine loft and large industrial sash windows. The first phase of the construction consisted of eight of the eventual twenty-eight loft units.
