As a follow-on to the highly successful La Mesa
Quarry project, Crossroads was conceived as a family friendly residential
project. It was constructed on a difficult site comprised of disused shopping
center properties and parking lots sandwiched between freeway ramps, busy city
streets, and a creek bed along one side.
Comprised of three structures in three- and
four-story configurations with one- and two-bedroom units around a central
courtyard, the campus makes a welcoming gathering space for families and
neighbors away from parking concealed behind the buildings. All residential
entrances are accessed from the courtyard using the same Quarry project concept
of walk-up, through-building flats. The project provides townhome experience
with multi-directional views and generous in-unit amenities.
