Bahia View is a tower designed for an urban site in downtown San Diego with direct views to the San Diego Bay.
Programmatic questions include: Is the tower composed of large luxury apartments, or sectioned into micro units to accommodate more density?
A corner of the tower steps back creating space for a small streetfront historical building to remain on the site. The erosion of the building is expressed by a diagonal strut that connects the receding balconies.
